Guard-Zone™ Surveillance SystemThe Guard-Zone™ Surveillance System (SS) is a millimeter wave, track-while-scanning perimeter surveillance radar. The Guard-Zone™ SS operates from 77-78 GHz at extremely low radio frequency (RF) power (less than 10 milliwatts) and requires fewer than 25 watts of DC power to operate. The Guard-Zone™ SS provides a complete 360° radar image created once per second. Not only is the surveillance sub-function performed, but the automatic sensing and tracking of intruders is performed. Automated sensing and tracking allows operators to train their attention when and where needed to promote a more alert and focused use of human resources. The high resolution of the system allows detection out to 800 meters beyond perimeters while simultaneously providing situational awareness within the perimeter. The Guard-Zone™ SS can be integrated with other sensors and systems for a robust defense. |
