Custom Communications Systems

At IIW, we are able to rapidly develop custom communication systems due to our array of modular designs. Our communication systems are cleanly divided into several modules with uniform interfaces. These modules include the communications hardware, controller hardware, communications protocol, control post, and sensors. We can develop several different designs for each module satisfying a wide range of requirements. This, combined with our uniform interfaces between the modules, allow us to interchange different modules in a system to find the right mix of functionality to meet our customers' needs.

Tagging, Tracking, and Locating

We are able to rapidly develop custom Tagging, Tracking, and Locating (TTL) Systems due to our modular designs. Our design methodology separates the location method, the communication link, the communication protocol, and sensors so that they can be interchanged to meet specific needs. Furthermore, multiple communication links and/or protocols can be utilized in the same TTL device. This methodology makes it possible to quickly put together a reliable TTL system that meets a wide range of specific custom needs.

Microelectronics Packaging

IIW maintains Quick Reaction Capability (QRC) providing rapid microelectronics packaging. Our flexible, efficient systems coupled with in-house fabrication capabilities allow us to regularly answer our customers' calls for rapid product development. From rapid team-based concept development to in-house PCB fabrication, surface mount technology (SMT), machining, and plastic casting technology, we posses the expertise, experience, systems, and equipments required to move from concept to delivery in day to weeks.
